The bottom line: I love my Treo and would buy it over and over again if I needed to.
Being a busy mom on the go, I needed a calendar to keep me in order and a way to organize my lists and everyday life. I don't usually carry a big purse, so I wanted all of this in a phone so I didn't have to carry a lot of stuff. I decided on the Palm Treo and have been in love ever since. It has more features than I ever could possibly use, but love having the capabilities.
As a phone, it works great. It is easy to answer calls and is easy to navigate around. I can hear really well and everyone seems to be able to hear me quite well also.
I love the calendar. That is definitely my favorite part. It has many views that you can look at your things to do in a list, by the week, or by the month. You can color code your activities, so when you are looking at your things to do, you have an idea what category it is for. The stylus makes it really easy to enter things in, as does the full qwerty keyboard. The address book is very detailed and can store a ton of information for each entry.
The video camera and camera are great for a telephone. I personally have a separate digital camera for important photos, but I think this phone takes good enough pictures to keep for those moments you aren't prepared with the good camera.
There is also a voice memo feature that is nice when you want to quickly record something to remind you later. There is also a way to keep tasks that you need to complete and check them off as they are completed. It has bluetooth capabilities and does all the internet stuff with ease. This phone has more capabilities that I would ever need or use.
I know a lot of people have complained about the battery life. I feel like my phone keeps its charge quite well. If I am on it a ton, then I need to charge it every night. But usually I go about every 3 days before I need to put it on the charger for the night.
I love my Treo and would buy it over and over again if I needed to. It was worth every penny spent and has been a lifesaver in keeping my life organized.
