The bottom line: It's a great unit that gets the job done and doesn't break the bank.
I have now had this unit for 4 months and it has bailed me out MANY times. It is really uncanny how accurate it is.

On occasion you will think "no way, I shouldn't be turning here" so you don't only to find that the unit WAS right. The real beauty of these things is that when you DO screw up, thinking "great, now what", you hear the unit say "recalculating" -- and off you go, following new directions to get back on course.

One of the main reasons I selected this unit was because of earlier reviewers stating how easy it was to use - they were right! Had it out of the box, EASY suction mount down low on the windshield of my Tacoma pickup, plugged into the 12v outlet, and down the road in less than 10 minutes. No charging the battery for 16-18 hours first before you can use it! Very intuitive with touch-screen menu- never even looked at the manual. But the manual is well-written and does have worthwhile, interesting info.

It's got terrific battery life, un-plugged from the car. It's lightness and compact size slips easily into a pocket for use while walking, jogging, biking or even back-seat driving in someone else's car. You'll never be lost again.
