Pros: Quick, easy way to fry. Basket lowered with lid closed, timer.
Cons: Basket is kind of small, white
The Bottom Line: If you like fresh fried food, but don't need to make a bunch of it, this is a great appliance. Easy and safe to use.

Pros: Fabulous Fryer for the cost!
Cons: One or two servings at a time work best
The Bottom Line: Big fryer for little bucks? You found it, BUT if you have a large family, you may want a larger model than the D690!

Pros: I found the deep fryer very easy to use and clean.
Cons: The instruction manual doesn't really give you enough info. Thats why I use "Epinions".
The Bottom Line: Paid a little more for it but it is worth it. I think its good for small items to be fried. Large items don't cook evenly enough.

Pros: Easy to use, keeps the smell and mess of deep frying down.
Cons: Hard to clean, not enough filters, etc. included. You will eat more fried food.
The Bottom Line: Worth it if you have counter space and like to make deep fried food at home.

Pros: No mess, no smell and easy to clean.
Cons: Doesn't get hot enough.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it, but if you are in need of cooking at a temperature higher that 370 degrees - look for something else.

Pros: Nice size, cool touch exterior
Cons: Not easy to clean, cool touch exterior is not cool
The Bottom Line: Would not recommend as its life is just too short and very difficult to clean
