This is without question the computer best monitor I have ever used. I agree with everything said by the other reviewers.

The color is simply vibrant. When displaying a good quality photo, you feel you can almost climb inside the screen. The mechanics of the stand, swiveling, etc. are very nice, as noted by others.

One point not mentioned by other reviewers: Dell rates this unit's image contrast ratio at 1500:1. This compares to most other monitors being rating at about 500:1 or 600:1. Simply put, this rating means that the brightest pixels on the screen can be 1500 times brighter than the darkest pixels. I can't help but wonder if this high rating explains the brilliant, true life quality of the display.

The unit also has a wider viewing angle than most other displays. This provides practical benefits since it allows the display to be seen from a wider variety of positions (such as with a small group) with good quality.
