Pros: Doesn't crash alot, fast, easy to use
Cons: Customer Support, hard drives suck, rather heavy
The bottom line: Do not buy this model, buy a newer one, one with color and a webcam

I have had this laptop for close to a year now. I have had the hard drive replaced once, probably due to all the reformatting i did(installing xp, then linix, then xp again, then vista), but other than that i havent had any problems except when i had xp on it. If you get this laptop make sure u keep vista on it because xp just doesnt run. I had lots and lots of driver problems.
I like it because it works, looks okay, and isnt too big to carry around. There are plenty of usb ports and it even has a Memory card slot which is pretty cool. It doesnt freeze up much at all and when it does its because i have like ten windows open and are playing music and stuff.
I dont like that it is rather heavy, not too heavy but heavier than some. It doesn't have a webcam, which dell came out with one that did six months after i bought this one for the same price. There customer support SUCKS.
Overall its an okay laptop but not one i would recommend. Dell has better, newer ones out there. I bought this one because it was the only dell wal-mart had and i wasn't too sure about Acer or Samsung and HP's are the worst you could ever buy.
