I bought this laptop for my 17 year old son and I will admit that we got a sweet deal from dell, when we bought it we qualified for a $100 gift card to be sent within 6 weeks.
I have to say dell really outdid themselves with this laptop, they have built a very reputable company, about 8 years ago I would never have bought a dell but dell now seems to adhere to quality standards for their customers and looks like they will continue to do so in the future.
My overall review of this laptop and company is that I have had a great experience dealing with them and their products are all top notch.
The Laptop itself came preloaded with windows vista and was real easy to set up, we got a carrying case for the laptop and also got a laptop binder for CDs and other information so you can store any information in it, the laptop also gave us a lojack option for 1 year, lojack says at any time you have their warranty and the laptop gets stolen they will recover it within 30 days or they will replace it at no charge.
