Pros: Good manual; many video capture options; easy (if simple) video editor; breakout box
Cons: Installation was a little tricky; need a relatively fast computer (but most like this do...)
The Bottom Line: If you need to do video capture, and don't want VCR/TIVO-like functionality, this product is great. I am considering buying it for home use.

Pros: Better approach than the USB versions of the Dazzle line.
Cons: Horrible capture quality at VideoCD setting.
The Bottom Line: The MPEG encoder in the Digital Video Creator II is far below par for the price being charged. I would not recommend this unit for any purpose.

Pros: Very good MPEG-2 captures.
MovieStar software easy to use.
Well organized support website.
Cons: More costly than more effective alternatives.
Hardware/software conflicts common.
Support website short on solutions.
The Bottom Line: The Dazzle Video Creator II is not at all recommended by me to anyone who has a limited amount of time. There are cheaper alternatives that work!

Pros: Fairly easy to install.
Decent interface.
Cons: Hardware conflicts.
Excessive drain on computer resources
The Bottom Line: There are several much less expensive alternatives to this product that are simpler to hook up and easier on your computers resources..
