Pros: Nice idea, easy (Windows) installation, very versatile in its configuration possibilities. USB x 2
Cons: Limited list of printers supported, severely restricted Apple functionality due to Postscript requirements.
The bottom line: This item may work well on Windows, but it proved functionless by only supporting Postscript capable printers in the Apple operating environment.

I became interested in this item because I wanted to share my Monochrome HP laser printer and our HP photo printer between all users in our small business wireless network. We have a DLINK wireless G router, and this product seemed like the perfect fit without buying a print server for each printer.
Our network is all on Apple OS (for life), and the DLINK router has worked flawlessly. It generates good signal, was easy to set up, and was far cheaper than Apple networking products. The print server was another story.
I followed the instructions closely, and installed the server on my network and configured it according to the vague Apple OS instructions provided. After lengthy fruitless fiddling, I discovered that Apple printing is only supported by Postscript enabled printers, and my HP laser is not a Postscript printer. It is, however, a very current and popular B W business laser printer. The kind you might like to SHARE ON YOUR NETWORK.
In retrospect, I wish that I had stuck with the Apple Airport Express for printer sharing duties, got the network ready version of my HP Laser, or done my compatibility homework better. There is a list of tested printers buried on the DLINK website.
Basically, if you use the Apple OS, check your printer specs to see if it is Postscript capable. If not, stay away from this print server.
