The 24-inches Ultra DMA/Ultra ATA IDE Ribbon Cable connects an internal IDE hard drive to your controller card. Compatible with all IDE drives it is ideal for Ultra ATA-66/100 and UDMA-66/100 IDE drives. The cable has three 40-socket female connectors; one is to attach the cable to the controller card while the other two are for connecting hard drives. The connectors are color-coded blue, gray, and black for easy installation. It has an 80-conductor ribbon cable featuring a unique grounding design. To reduce the levels of interference and cross talk between the drive and its controller, the cable has 40 conductors that provide extra grounding.
